We freshly roast and then salt our Wild Harvested Piñon in small batches every week before shipping! During the roasting process, most of the moisture from inside the piñons is removed, making the nuts shelf-stable for several years afterward.
Half pound (8oz) per package by weight before roasting* *This is the weight when they are initially picked and packaged. Once roasted piñon nuts can be expected to lose a good percentage of their initial picked weight.

Our hardshell piñon is harvested whole in-cone in the Four Corners region of Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. The nuts are cleaned and sorted for quality, but otherwise, this is a 100% wild-grown product.
